About Nature’s Remedy

At Nature’s Remedy, we believe in letting nature lend a hand. Founded by Glenn Prichard, a former professional athlete and seasoned entrepreneur, our mission is to create sustainable solutions that benefit farmers, wildlife, and the environment.

Glenn’s journey to establishing Nature’s Remedy began with his passion for wildlife and a chance encounter with the world of barn owls. Volunteering with raptor rescue organizations and working with owl experts, he discovered the transformative role barn owls play in organic farming. These remarkable raptors are nature’s pest control, keeping farms free of gophers, rats, and other crop-destroying pests without the need for harmful poisons or traps.

Glenn saw an opportunity to make a difference after visiting farms with neglected nesting boxes—some falling apart, others unfit for use. Inspired to improve these habitats, he dedicated himself to designing and placing durable, safe nesting boxes. Through Nature’s Remedy, Glenn provides custom-built boxes, handmade by a local disabled veteran, as well as lifetime maintenance for farms of all sizes.

Our nesting boxes are carefully placed to maximize safety and effectiveness, avoiding power poles and trees that expose owls to predators. Instead, we install them on sturdy, freestanding platforms—safe havens where barn owls can thrive and farmers can enjoy the benefits of sustainable pest control.

But Nature’s Remedy isn’t just about nesting boxes. Education is at the heart of what we do. Glenn works with farmers to promote eco-friendly practices, explaining how baiting and trapping can harm the ecosystem. He’s also passionate about community outreach, engaging scouting troops, school woodshop classes, and even large retailers to support and expand the mission.
